DEVELOPMENT OF THE CONCEPT OF “SMART CITIES” IN UKRAINE

Abstract

The article is devoted to the consideration of the use of the concept of “smart cities”, taking into
account the application of modern technologies and innovations to ensure a comfortable life in the
megacities of Ukraine.
An analysis of the use of augmented reality elements was carried out with an assessment of the basic
principles of building “smart cities”, key tasks and an analysis of the most modern approaches and solutions
to improve such aspects of life as local government, energy, heat and water supply, construction, art,
security, medicine, transport, ecology, waste.
The article proves that the use of information additions forms new principles of organizing the life of
a large city.
An innovative approach to improving the infrastructure of Ukrainian cities, which is of great
economic, political, cultural and social importance, is separately emphasized.
Proposed options for preserving national cultural heritage and monitoring the preservation of art
exhibits in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra and in art museums of Ukraine using augmented reality technology.
An innovative model of preventive storage is considered, which includes a radio module and specialpurpose sensors used to determine parameters - lighting, air quality, temperature, humidity, ultraviolet
radiation, wind load, shock load, etc.
