Abstract

A significant component of virtually any telecommunication network is the access network The paper discusses the construction of a telecommunications access network using multiplexors. When designing an access network, a typical way to reduce the cost of creating an access network is to use multiplexors. The work determined the optimal number of multiplexors for the access network area at a circle with a uniform distribution of subscribers in this area.
