Research of IP-telephony technology

Abstract

The work done allows us to conclude that IP-telephony (or VoIP, Voice over Internet Protocol) is another technical innovation that came to us with the Internet and shows that the world will no longer be the same as before. VoIP in essence is a technology that allows you to cheaper intercity and international calls 3-5 times. This is due to the fact that the main part of the way the voice signal goes online in digital form, which costs much less money and allows you to achieve higher quality of communication than with the use of conventional analog lines.
Calls are a very important part of the communication between the links of the company. With the development and popularization of Ethernet networks, they also came to the company, where they used to access databases and the global Internet. But even though this network is possible communication telephony is not anywhere. It changed a bit to improve the installation and configuration of telephony in the enterprise.
The article deals with the principle of IP-telephony technology, the main terms used in it and the set of protocols used during its operation. Exploring the use of IP telephony technology, how is the voice over the Internet, what are the benefits of this way of communication. The data of IP telephone network creation are analyzed.
