Abstract

In connection with the emergence of new methods of access to information resources (multimedia, news, personal data, etc.), and also in connection with the development of future networks, operators, providers and other representatives of broadband access services should ensure reliable and trouble-free operation of their information systems and complexes . Based on this main requirement, each element of the network must have its own duplicate, and in the event of a failure of the main element (or subsystem) in the shortest possible line, enter the robot of the complex while ensuring a minimum delay in access to information by the user. The paper considers the main methods for ensuring the reliability of future systems and provides an algorithm for determining the optimal number of elements for reserving the most important subsystems of information complexes.

Keywords: information system, future network, system reliability, element reservation.
