The content of the space of public administration is analyzed and the need to distinguish two interrelated systems in it is justified: administrative and anthropological. The characteristics of these systems are given. The role of the administrative system in ensuring adequate conditions for the functioning of the anthropological system as a whole and the civil servant as an administrative person in particular is emphasized. Ukrainian-centrism is defined as the basis of the statesmanʼs thinking of the administrative person. It is noted that awareness of the significance and importance of the anthropological system should be directly related to professional competence in the space of public administration. A number of priority tasks have been identified, the solution of which becomes a priority for the space of public administration.
