Abstract

The article explores the role of digitalization and innovation in the
transformation of the strategic management system in the context of global instability and
accelerated technological development. It is substantiated that digital transformation is
not only a tool for modernizing management processes, but also a key factor in increasing
the efficiency, adaptability and competitiveness of state and corporate structures. The
essence of digitalization is revealed as a complex process of integrating information and
communication technologies, big data, artificial intelligence and platform solutions into
the system of strategic planning and implementation of management decisions. The
current trends in the development of digital governance are analyzed, in particular the
introduction of e-democracy tools, data analytics, and automated decision-making
support systems. It is determined that innovations in strategic management contribute to
increasing transparency, optimizing resource provision, forming long-term development
strategies and strengthening the institutional capacity of government bodies. Particular
attention is paid to the issues of risks of digital transformation, including cyber threats,
algorithmic bias, digital competence deficit and regulatory restrictions. It is proven that
the successful implementation of digital strategies requires a systematic approach,
integration of innovative technologies into strategic planning, formation of a digital
culture of management and development of human capital. It is concluded that
digitalization and innovation are decisive factors in the modernization of strategic
management and ensuring sustainable development in modern conditions.
