Abstract

This article substantiates the urgency of modernizing
Ukraine’s distribution systems in the context of post-war reconstruction and integration into
European and global supply chains. The study’s aim is to conduct a theoretical analysis of the problems and prospects for the development of both logistical and IT-based distribution, taking into
account wartime infrastructure damage and global digitalization trends. Key findings reveal critical
infrastructure constraints, low transparency, and fragmentation of supply chains, while also
demonstrating the potential of IoT-enabled cargo tracking, warehouse automation, implementation
of SCM platforms, and electronic document management. The conclusions emphasize that the
synchronized pursuit of three strategic vectors—infrastructure modernization, digital transformation,
and EU integration—will create conditions for sustainable economic growth, enhanced
competitiveness of Ukrainian products, and strengthened national security.
Keywords: distribution systems, logistics, digital transformation, supply chain management
