Abstract

The article examines modern mechanisms and tools for improving logistics inventory management of
industrial enterprises based on digital technologies, which is a key factor in ensuring production
continuity and economic resilience under conditions of military instability. Special attention is paid
to the analysis of the causes of inefficiency of existing inventory management systems, which cannot
be directly measured due to the dominance of external shocks (war, port blockades, power outages,
infrastructure destruction) and require comprehensive approaches for diagnosing and quantifying
automation barriers. The authors consider various analytical methods, including cause-and-effect
modeling (multi-level Ishikawa diagram), content analysis of enterprise annual reports,
questionnaire surveys of heads of logistics and IT departments, as well as structural-logical modeling
for forming a holistic concept of digital transformation. The key elements of the proposed improvement mechanism are identified, including: AI models for dynamic demand and risk
forecasting (Demand Sensing, Risk-aware Planning), digital twins for scenario-based disruption
modeling, automated management of obsolete inventory based on artificial intelligence, as well as
an environmental module for integrating CBAM requirements and carbon footprint reporting, which
allow formalizing and quantitatively assessing the effectiveness of management decisions in real time.
