EDUCATIONAL MANAGEMENT AND MECHANISMS FOR ENSURING THE QUALITY OF EDUCATION UNDER CONDITIONS OF STANDARDIZATION
Abstract
The modern stage of
educational development in Ukraine is characterized by active reform processes, integration into the
European educational area, and implementation of new educational quality standards. In the context
of globalization, digitalization, and socio-economic transformations, the issue of effective
educational management as the basis for ensuring the competitiveness of educational institutions
becomes especially relevant. Educational management is considered a system of managerial activity
aimed at achieving high-quality educational processes through the implementation of modern
management mechanisms, monitoring, evaluation, and strategic planning.
Educational standardization serves as an important tool for ensuring the unity of the educational
space, defining quality criteria, and forming students’ competencies. In this context, the mechanism
of educational quality assurance includes internal and external control procedures, accreditation,
monitoring of educational activities, assessment of learning outcomes, and improvement of
management processes. Strategic management plays a special role in ensuring the quality of
education, contributing to the adaptation of educational institutions to modern challenges and
ensuring their sustainable development.
The purpose of this article is to study the essence of educational management and mechanisms for
ensuring the quality of education under conditions of standardization, as well as to identify the main
problems and prospects for the development of the educational quality management system in
Ukraine.
