Entity and classification of enterprise resources

Abstract

A theoretical review of the concept of "resources" and "resources of the enterprise" was made. Various approaches to classification of resources of enterprises are revealed. Features of resources of enterprises are given. The basic types of resources which are the most important and most often used in activity of the enterprise are determined. The main components of each type of enterprise resources are highlighted. One of the elements of enterprise resources is material resources. Material resources are called basic and negotiable means of production, which are used (or can be used) in the production process and form its materialnoduthe base. They are divided into means of work and work items. Means of labor characterize the degree of mastering and subordination of the forces of nature producing material goods. The objects are divided into two types: the first – substances, which are first separated by work from nature and converted into a product, the second – raw materials or raw material, processing substances. Means and articles of work differently behave themselves in the process of reproduction: change of work items occurs by the person through the means of work, while the processed piece of work can be transformed into a means of work in another labor process. Efficiency of financing of enterprises is determined in any other way by strategy of formation of resources, depending on a form of ownership, type of activity of territorial accommodation and other factors of influence. Human resources are an equally important type of resource. They play a crucial role in ensuring the conditions of competitiveness and long-term development of the enterprise and require investments in their formation and development. Another important type of enterprise resources is information resources that help reduce risks and increase the efficiency of the enterprise.
