Author Guidelines

REVIEW PROCEDURE

Reviewing (expertise) of manuscripts of scientific articles is carried out in order to maintain the high scientific and theoretical level of the journal "Economics. Management. Business" and to select the most valuable and relevant scientific works.

The journal "Economics. Management. Business" uses double-blind (anonymous) review: the personal data of the author/authors are not disclosed to the reviewer; no personal data of the reviewer is disclosed to the author/authors.

Scientific articles submitted to the editorial board are subject to priority control over compliance with the requirements for scientific articles.

The editor-in-chief or deputy editor-in-chief conducts the initial expert assessment of a scientific article.

The editorial board determines a reviewer from the editorial board who supervises the relevant scientific direction of the article submitted for publication. In the absence of a curator of the relevant direction, the editorial board appoints an external reviewer for this work. Reviewers (both members of the editorial board and external reviewers) must be well-known experts in the subject of the submitted manuscript and have publications in this field (preferably within the last 5 years).

After reviewing a scientific article, the reviewer concludes:

- the article is recommended for publication;
- the article is recommended for publication after its revision by the author taking into account the comments made;
- the article is not recommended for publication.

If the reviewer recommends the article for publication after its revision taking into account the comments or does not recommend the article for publication, the reason for such a decision must be indicated in the review.

When reviewing, the editorial board recommends using a standard review form developed by the editorial board and posted on the journal's website.

The grounds for re-review may be:

- insufficient level of the initial expert opinion;
- acute inconsistency of the provisions set forth in the scientific article.

RETRACT PROCEDURE

According to COPE recommendations, a retraction is a mechanism for correcting a published paper and alerting readers that it is so flawed or contains inaccurate data that its conclusions cannot be trusted.

We consider the following reasons for a potential retraction:

- there is clear evidence that the results are unreliable, contain a serious error (e.g., miscalculation or experimental error), or are fraudulent;
- there is plagiarism;
- the results have been previously published elsewhere without proper citation or notification to the editor, or without permission for republishing;
- there is material for which permission has not been obtained;
- there are serious legal concerns;
- the publication was based on a compromised or manipulated peer review process;
- an undisclosed conflict of interest that, in the editor's opinion, would improperly influence the interpretation of the work or the recommendations for publication;
- significant problems with the authorship of the work for which there is evidence.

Potential retractions are carefully investigated by the editorial board before making a final decision. The editorial board will consult with the institutions where the authors work, as necessary.

REQUIREMENTS FOR DESIGN AND PROCEDURE FOR SUBMISSION OF PUBLICATIONS

The structure of a scientific article must necessarily contain the following essential elements:

1. Statement of the problem in general terms and its connection with important scientific or practical tasks.
2. Analysis of recent research and publications on which the author relies, which consider this problem and approaches to its solution. At the same time, highlight the unresolved parts of the general problem that is investigated in the article.
3. Purpose of the article. Formulation of the objectives of the article (statement of the task).
4. Research methods. Describe the methods (methodology) of your research so that readers can reproduce the research and come to similar conclusions. Briefly describe well-known methods and provide relevant references to them. Make sure that your own methods are clear to read and described in detail. If you use any software/database, please indicate the name and version. We advise you to explain the choice of a specific database among similar ones.
5. Presentation of the main material. Present the results of your research in a logical sequence without interpreting them. Make sure that you do not excessively duplicate data from tables and figures in the text of the article. Focus the reader's attention on the most important results of the table/figure provided. Do not use figures and tables where they would be better presented as plain text.
6. Conclusions from this study and further prospects in this direction. State your main conclusions and suggest directions for further research
7. List of sources and "References". All references should be provided in English according to APA style. You can check the latest style standards at this link or at this link. We also advise you to make sure that:

▪ references are presented in alphabetical order;
▪ DOI is included in the references (if available);
▪ transliteration of non-English names is done properly. Please use this instruction on transliteration.

References to sources should be made in the text in square brackets with the page numbers of the source: for example, [3, p. 234] or [2, p. 35; 8, p. 234].

8. The abstract in English (italics) should contain:

- Name (in full) and surname of each author.
- Title of the article in English
- Abstract and keywords in English

The volume of the extended abstract in English is at least 1800 characters (without spaces). In the abstract in English, the author must indicate the relevance of the topic, highlight the issues discussed, without presenting the results. When writing the abstract, references to any studies or other sources of information are not allowed. The abstract is submitted without subsections, the text must be short and original. It is inappropriate to use information from the text of the article. If the article is submitted in English, in this case the extended abstract is submitted in Ukrainian. The English translation must be authentic (not machine-translated).
