Abstract

The subject of the study is information resources in cyberspace of infocommunication systems and Internet traffic. The need for a comprehensive analysis of the protection of infocommunication systems is proven, which combines several key elements: security mechanisms, types and types of traffic, data transfer protocols and a semiotic multi-level approach. The current state of convergent network traffic types, the structure of infocommunication systems and cyberattacks on distributed structures of infocommunication systems are analyzed. The current state of information resource protection, traffic type protection, protocols for various security mechanisms in cyberspace are considered. In this context, it is noted that the convergent network infrastructure must be protected for the transmission of various information flows, and the problem of effective information protection in the conditions of its growing volumes is gaining critical scientific and practical importance. The use of the semiotic model allows to streamline approaches to the protection of various types of traffic and protocols in infocommunication networks. Thanks to the semantic, syntactic and pragmatic levels of the semiotic model, a comprehensive analysis of security problems is provided, combining technical, structural and social aspects. This plays a key role in the effective protection of distributed networks from modern threats, which are constantly becoming more complex.

Keywords: information protection, cyberspace, information resources, infocommunication networks, semiotic principles, security mechanisms.
