GENERAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE PROBLEM OF INTRUSIONS INTO THE ORGANIZATION'S INFORMATION SYSTEM: THE POSSIBILITIES OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN TRAFFIC ANALYSIS

In a high-tech global integrated environment, the problem of ensuring the reliability of information is becoming more
urgent, accompanied by the implementation of high standards for security protocols and privacy protection. The study is devoted
to the analysis of the potential of artificial intelligence tools in traffic analysis as a basis for solving the problem of intrusions
into the organization's information system. This problem acquires particular importance against the background of the
intensification of internal and external threats of wartime in Ukraine. The definition of information security is explained in the
context of a reliably protected information space that provides resistance to the destructive influence of threatening factors. The
relevance of the problem of intrusions into information systems, which is due to the rapid development of digitalization
processes, is substantiated. It was found that the artificial intelligence (AI) toolkit allows for the formation of management
decisions of a significantly higher level of efficiency, which allows for the prompt identification of cyberattack threats, optimal
response to incidents in the field of information security, and automation of risk assessment processes and consequences of
cyber incidents. The functionality of artificial intelligence technologies is proven by minimizing the impact of the human factor, since the AI toolkit allows for its complete exclusion from the process of ensuring information security protection, leaving the
correction and monitoring functionality within the scope of competence. The main types of modern solutions in the field of
information security based on AI that effectively identify and neutralize cyberattacks, including in a preventive context, are
analyzed. It is substantiated that the intensification of the use of AI technologies at the current stage of society’s development
is due to the possibility of integrating complex protective measures to counter internal and external threats to information
security. The article proves that using the potential of artificial intelligence in traffic analysis to prevent and solve the problem
of intrusions into an organization's information system allows for timely identification and neutralization of existing threats,
prevention of potential risks, and optimization of information security protocols.
