Abstract

Modern man lives in a flow of information from various media, and therefore ensuring his information security is an urgent problem. The purpose of ensuring a person's information security is to protect him from misinformation, information manipulation and fake news that have a negative impact on his mental health and emotional state. To build effective human protection mechanisms against the negative influence of the media, it is necessary to learn how to measure such influence quantitatively, offering a clear action algorithm for recognizing such influence and countermeasures. The article proposes a model of information security of the individual from the influence of sociology, for which the model of conforming human behavior was taken and improved taking into account the peculiarities of the individual's perception of the results of sociology. The developed model of personal information security is based on the concept of probabilistic control of information flows in the model of personal behavior under the influence of sociological information. This approach makes it possible to explore various strategies for managing the impact of sociology results on the individual and to choose an appropriate strategy, ensuring the necessary level of personal information security. The study of the effectiveness of the developed model of information security of the individual shows an improvement in the information security of the individual by 27.9 - 54.2%, compared to the average citizen of Ukraine who is in a typical media environment. This proves the advantage of manual management of information security compared to personal consumption of content in the form and in the amount offered by the Ukrainian media segment.
