Abstract

The article examines the important aspects of ensuring the availability of information in the Data Center (DC). In particular, the authors consider the issue of assessment and synthesis of the performance of distributed information systems (DIS) in order to achieve optimal parameters of bandwidth and response time. Methods of constructing time profiles for evaluating and analyzing the performance of DIS in DC are proposed. The use of these profiles makes it possible to quantitatively evaluate the characteristics of distributed information systems and to synthesize systems with given performance parameters. The authors point out the importance of matching bandwidth and response time parameters between system elements to ensure the continuity of DC operation and information availability. The study shows that the application of the considered methods makes it possible to a priori form the structure of the IS DC, taking into account the previously determined parameters of information availability. The obtained results are an important step in the direction of ensuring uninterrupted operation of the distributed system of the Data Center and increasing the availability of information in the data center. Such an approach can be of great importance for the progress and development of modern information technologies, in particular, in terms of increasing the efficiency of the DC and ensuring the reliability of data management systems.
