Abstract

The work presents the structure and main indicators of the company's local network, means of security analysis and detection of its vulnerability. Threat models are analyzed and risks that may arise when transmitting information on the network are identified. Different means of sniffing are analyzed and their classification is given. On the basis of the conducted analysis and research, recommendations were developed regarding the use of methods and means of combating sniffing in the enterprise's local network. The field of use is cyber security of local networks.
