Improving the technology of protecting the Telegram messenger from bots and spam

Abstract

The article considers potential vulnerabilities and studies the scheme of Telegram messenger. A comparison and analysis of the advantages and disadvantages of messenger protection was performed, as a result of which the Telegram Bot API was chosen as the most convenient and accessible in terms of Telegram messenger documentation. Based on this, the requirements for the development of a chatbot were identified. The last step in the task was to select technologies and environment for chatbot development, including Python, SaaP Heroku and VS Code, and built-in Windows administration tools.
