The methods of detecting four types of alarm events are considered: the appearance and stay of the object in the observation zone, moving the object in a prohibited direction, abandoning the object and throwing the object. To improve the basic characteristics of intelligent video monitoring systems, synchronization of video camera control processes and parallel processing processes of images and signals from stationary and rotary video cameras, zones observations of which intersect.
Keywords: intelligent video surveillance systems, video analytics, digital image processing, identifying alarm events, identifying objects, tracking objects.
