Theoretical Approach to Defining the Content of the Concept of "Information" as a Major Category of Cybersecurity

Abstract

The article explores approaches to substantiate the content of the concept of "information". The content of the concept of ―information‖ as the main category of cybersecurity has been substantiated. Functional nature of information in information systems is established. The perspective direction of further development of the theory of protected information systems is determined.
