Abstract

Obfuscating a code is an important method of protecting against backward development of software and in order to protect its intellectual property. It is difficult to develop a backflush code or program backwards, because when analyzing machine program instructions: static or dynamic, it is difficult to follow the program logic that is hidden in the interpreted bytecode. In the article, it was shown that the off-box code developed using VM satisfies most of the criteria for evaluating the efficiency of the obfuscated code.

Keywords: obfuscation, intellectual property, encryption, information protection.
